Role Overview
The Calgary Construction Operations team is hiring Form Setters to support the 2026 road construction season in Calgary, Alberta. This position is part of a field-based crew working on concrete formwork for roadway projects.
What You Will Do
- Set out and prepare concrete formwork for construction work.
- Install and remove concrete forms as required.
- Work to grade so forms are positioned accurately.
- Read grades and interpret curb and gutter layouts.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and appropriately.
- Collaborate closely with the crew to complete assigned tasks.
- Take on additional duties assigned by the supervisor.
What You Need
- Prior experience working as a Form Setter in road construction.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Capacity to regularly lift up to 50 lbs and remain standing or walking for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills for interacting professionally with supervisors, coworkers, contractors, and the public.
- A valid Class 5 driver’s license or higher.
- Access to a personal vehicle for commuting to and from the jobsite.
- Availability for overtime and weekend work when needed.
- Compliance with the company’s drug and alcohol program, including required testing.
