Finance Executive

Role Overview

This role supports the finance function by overseeing sales reporting accuracy, handling accounts receivable activities, and guiding Accounts Assistants so that financial data is reliable for business analysis and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of Accounts Assistants in sales reporting and accounts receivable work.
• Manage month-end closing tasks related to sales and receivables, including checking journals and month-end reports.
• Prepare and review balance sheet schedules and bank reconciliation statements in a timely manner.
• Track company cash flow and coordinate with the bank as needed.
• Handle quarterly GST reporting.
• Carry out GST reconciliation for sales and ensure accurate reporting to IRAS.
• Compile schedules required for audit exercises.
• Take part in system testing activities.
• Undertake other duties allocated by management.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Accountancy, or currently pursuing ACCA.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Careful, detail-oriented, and numerically strong.
• Solid analytical ability and comfort working without close supervision.
• Able to stay effective under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Demonstrated leadership ability to oversee a team.
• Good command of MS Office.
• Knowledge of financial accounting.
• Capability in coaching and planning.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time.
• Comfortable with digital tools and systems.
