Role Summary
The Executive Vice President position is a part-time, remote leadership role focused on setting strategic direction and supporting the company’s long-term growth. The role has oversight across major business areas such as operations, business development, and overall organizational performance, with the goal of keeping all efforts aligned with the company’s mission and expansion plans.
Key Duties
- Work closely with senior leadership to shape strategic plans and long-range business priorities.
- Analyze financial and operational reports to guide decisions and monitor performance.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional initiatives that support company goals.
- Support important client and partner relationships to strengthen business outcomes.
- Contribute to risk management practices, resource planning, and governance standards.
- Coach and support other leaders while reinforcing accountability, innovation, and inclusion across the organization.
Qualifications
- Proven executive-level leadership experience in energy, technology, or a similar sector, with a history of driving growth and improving organizational results.
- Solid experience in corporate strategy, operations leadership, and business development, including complex initiatives that involve multiple functions.
- Strong command of budgeting, financial oversight, and performance measurement, with the ability to interpret data and make sound decisions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities, with a talent for building trusted relationships across internal and external groups.
- Comfort working in remote or distributed teams, along with strong self-direction, time management, and digital collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related discipline is required; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
- Exposure to energy solutions, power management, or sustainability-oriented work is a strong advantage.
