Overview

Crossing Hurdles is seeking a skilled multidisciplinary graphic designer to join their team on a remote contract basis. This role involves critically evaluating and refining design interview content with a focus on visual and UX/UI elements, ensuring alignment with modern design standards and effective user experience. The position offers flexible commitment ranging from 10 to 40 hours per week and compensates between $15 to $40 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

Critically review and enhance design interview materials emphasizing visual appeal and user interface aspects.
Evaluate AI-generated designs for usability, quality, and adherence to contemporary design guidelines.
Provide practical feedback to improve layout structure, visual hierarchy, and overall user engagement.
Work collaboratively with AI training teams to maintain consistency with industry trends and standards.
Apply rich design expertise to help improve AI tools in practical scenarios.
Advocate for user-centered design principles and ensure branding consistency throughout all reviewed assets.

Qualifications and Experience

Proven multidisciplinary design experience supported by an impressive portfolio.
Strong knowledge of typography, layout, and visual design fundamentals.
Advanced proficiency with design software such as Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, etc.).
Skilled in wireframing, prototyping, and applying user-centered design methodologies.
Capability to evaluate and develop branding and visual identity frameworks.

Additional Information

Work commitment: Between 10 to 40 hours weekly.
