Job Overview
This is a remote contract opportunity for a Data Analyst Excel role based in Canada. The position is centered on using Microsoft Excel to analyze data, generate useful business insights, and support decision-making. The work also contributes to training AI systems with high-quality real-world input, and prior AI experience is not necessary if you bring strong domain knowledge.
What You’ll Do
- Use Microsoft Excel to perform detailed data analysis and produce insights that help teams make informed decisions.
- Work with project stakeholders to clarify data needs and turn them into practical analysis.
- Check, clean, and validate datasets so that accuracy, consistency, and data integrity are maintained.
- Create concise reports and visual materials that can be understood by both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Spot patterns, irregularities, and opportunities within complex datasets to support strategic work.
- Record the approach taken, the findings, and the recommendations with strong attention to detail.
- Apply your expertise to strengthen data-led decision-making for the customer’s team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Hands-on experience analyzing business data with Microsoft Excel as the main working tool.
- High precision and strong attention to detail when handling data and preparing reports.
- Good written and spoken communication skills for explaining analytical results clearly.
