About the Internship
Uboard India Limited, a vanguard in the electric micro-mobility domain, invites applications for a Data Analysis and Business Operations internship aimed at enhancing production planning and manufacturing workflows. This role works intimately with the production division to scrutinize manufacturing metrics, oversee operational efficiency, and uncover opportunities to boost productivity, quality, and process performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine production datasets to detect patterns influencing output quality, manufacturing productivity, and efficiency.
- Track machine functionality, downtimes, and output volumes to pinpoint areas needing enhancement.
- Monitor material usage, defect rates, and process inefficiencies to support initiatives aimed at waste reduction.
- Contribute to evaluation of cycle times, production capabilities, and workflow effectiveness to elevate operational standards.
- Develop production dashboards, management information system (MIS) reports, and key performance indicator (KPI) trackers for executive review.
- Support production scheduling by overseeing work orders, inventory status, and manufacturing timetables.
- Collaborate across Production, Quality, and Planning teams to advocate data-driven process refinement.
Candidate Profile and Eligibility
- Candidates should be Mechanical Engineering students with a keen interest in manufacturing excellence, industrial engineering, and process optimization.
- Applicants must be willing to commit to a full-time, in-office internship lasting four months, starting between July 25, 2026, and August 29, 2026.
- Possession of relevant skills and enthusiasm for the role is essential.
- Immediate joiners will have preference.
Additional Requirements
- Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Familiarity with manufacturing KPIs such as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Downtime, Rejection Rate, and Productivity metrics.
- Experience with Power BI or other visual data representation tools is advantageous.
Compensation and Perks
- Stipend ranging from INR 8,000 to INR 12,000 per month.
