Role overview
This position is based at the BR-Deira Branch in Dubai and focuses on supporting banking customers with a consistently professional, service-oriented approach that reflects the bank’s image in every interaction.
Purpose of the role
The main objective is to help customers with their banking needs by providing high-quality support and maintaining a polished, customer-friendly presence at all times.
Key responsibilities
- Keep a strong customer service mindset and ensure a helpful, courteous approach throughout all interactions.
- Process, route, and log customer instructions received through different channels such as incoming mail and fax.
- Respond to general walk-in queries about products and services in a friendly way and direct customers to the correct service team when needed.
- Carry out routine administrative tasks, including drafting memos and customer letters, as well as managing filing and related office work.
- Issue cheque books and ATM cards to customers.
- Handle delivery of captured card cases linked to customer accounts.
- Provide customers with covered cards when required.
- Return dishonoured cheques to customers as part of branch operations.
- Take on any additional duties assigned by branch management from time to time.
Specialist knowledge and technical skills
- Understanding of ADIB retail and institutional banking products and services.
- Familiarity with ADIB operational policies and procedures.
- Working knowledge of UAE banking practices, regulatory expectations, and risk considerations.
- Strong awareness of regulations issued by the Central Bank of the UAE.
- Basic understanding of service quality standards.
- Knowledge of cross-selling principles.
- Comfortable using computers in a work setting.
