Role overview

The Outpatient Department at Karratha Health Campus is looking for a motivated clerical team member to help support day-to-day administration in a busy frontline healthcare setting. This position suits someone who enjoys working in a supportive team and contributing to patient-facing services. The role may be offered as a permanent full-time appointment or a fixed-term full-time appointment, with the potential for extension and/or permanency.

What you will do

As part of the clerical team, you will assist with administrative functions across Karratha Health Campus and may also be asked to work shifts at other Pilbara facilities when needed.

Eligibility and appointment requirements

To be considered for a fixed-term appointment, you must hold a valid working visa. For a permanent appointment, you must be an Australian citizen, a permanent resident, or hold a visa that allows you to live and work in Australia indefinitely.

Selection is also conditional on satisfactory criminal records screening and integrity checking. Depending on the role, you may need a Working With Children Check and a pre-employment health assessment. Referees may be asked to comment on your integrity and past ethical conduct. Any adverse information will not automatically exclude you, but it will be considered during the process.

This vacancy is subject to a Western Australian Working With Children check. A satisfactory Pre-Employment Health Assessment is also required; if the assessment is not satisfactory, any offer may be withdrawn. The recruitment process may also be used to fill similar vacancies within the health service for up to twelve months from the date the recruitment decision is endorsed.
