Role overview
FedEx is hiring couriers for its Bradford location. The company is open to candidates who have recently passed their test as well as those with prior experience.
In this role, you will represent the business directly to customers by ensuring parcels are delivered promptly and professionally.
Working arrangement
The position is for 45 hours per week. The shift schedule has not yet been finalised.
Pay is £15.01 per hour. Additional premium pay applies for hours worked between 7:00 pm and 10:00 pm, as well as between 10:00 pm and 6:00 am.
Key duties
- Handle the collection and delivery of parcels and freight to customers.
- Keep the vehicle and the freight secure while in transit.
- Carry out multi-drop delivery routes.
- Perform the required checks on the vehicle before and during use.
- Follow all health and safety requirements.
What the employer is looking for
- A valid full Class 2 driving licence, together with Driver CPC and a tachograph driver card.
- Strong customer service ability.
- A positive approach, with the ability to work on your own and adapt to changing needs.
- A sound understanding of road rules and driving regulations.
