Opportunity Overview
We are supporting a number of well-established owners’ representatives and project management consultancies that are delivering highly complex mission critical projects across the United States.
With continued expansion in hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise data center development, this role is ideal for an experienced construction or project scheduler who performs well in demanding environments and can work effectively with owners, consultants, contractors, and project leadership to keep delivery on track.
Openings are available across Central and Eastern time zones, with options that may be fully remote, travel-based, hybrid, or site-based depending on the assignment.
This is a chance to contribute to large-scale data center programs, including multi-million and multi-billion-dollar developments, where planning discipline, schedule control, and project controls are central to successful execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, update, and oversee detailed Primavera P6 schedules covering design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout.
- Build baseline schedules, resource-loaded schedules, and recovery plans that support client goals and project milestones.
- Track progress, spot schedule slippage, and recommend actions to reduce delay risk.
- Carry out critical path reviews, float analysis, and schedule quality checks.
- Support schedule risk work through scenario planning and what-if evaluations.
- Prepare leadership-level reports, dashboards, and progress summaries for clients and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with owners, owner’s representatives, general contractors, design teams, and trade partners to align scheduling across multiple workstreams.
- Assist with change control, time impact analysis, delay analysis, and recovery planning when needed.
- Attend project meetings and provide planning and scheduling input throughout the full project lifecycle.
- Encourage best practices in scheduling and help strengthen project controls processes over time.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have a background as a construction scheduler, project scheduler, planning engineer, or project controls professional within commercial construction.
Experience on mission critical work such as data centers is strongly preferred, and exposure to semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, life sciences, or other complex builds will also be valuable.
Strong Primavera P6 capability is essential. Familiarity with Microsoft Project, Power BI, or other project controls tools is an added advantage.
A solid grasp of construction sequencing, scheduling techniques, critical path methods, and project controls fundamentals is required.
Experience working with owners, consultancies, EPC organizations, or large general contractors is important.
The role also requires confident communication skills, a highly organized and analytical approach, and the ability to manage several priorities in fast-moving project settings.
Travel may be necessary depending on the project and client needs.
Compensation and Benefits
Compensation is listed at USD 120,000 to USD 200,000+ annually, with the final offer depending on experience, sector expertise, and technical strength.
Additional benefits may include competitive benefits, performance-based incentives, and professional development opportunities, depending on the client.
The role offers exposure to leading mission critical programs, flexibility in work arrangement, and long-term growth potential within one of construction’s fastest-growing sectors.
Work Arrangement
Positions may be available as fully remote, remote with travel, hybrid, or site-based assignments.
Work is available across the Central and Eastern regions of the United States.
