Construction Foreman

Role Overview

An established construction firm is looking for a Foreman based in County Galway to oversee fit-out and refurbishment projects. The position suits someone with at least five years of site-based construction experience and strong familiarity with current building regulations.

Compensation

The role offers an annual salary in the range of €65,000 to €75,000, depending on experience.

Key Duties

• Lead and coordinate subcontractors and labourers on site.
• Review subcontractor work and approve completed tasks.
• Work in close partnership with Project Managers.
• Provide regular progress updates and respond to management information requests.
• Oversee day-to-day health and safety compliance on site.
• Organize work according to project priorities and schedules.

Experience and Qualifications

A qualification in Construction Management or a trade such as Carpentry is preferred. Hands-on experience in refurbishment, fit-out, or retrofit projects is essential. Candidates should have more than five years of construction management or foreman experience on site and a solid record of delivering refurbishment or fit-out work. The role also requires the ability to build and sustain strong working relationships.
