Overview
Camping World is hiring a Consignment Specialist to join its expanding team in Salem, Alabama. This role focuses on sourcing pre-owned inventory from the public while delivering a customer experience that consistently meets and exceeds expectations.
What You’ll Do
- Work on acquiring used inventory from members of the public.
- Provide attentive customer support and aim to go beyond customer expectations.
What You Need
- Demonstrated sales achievement with a positive, winning approach.
- Interest in learning about campers and the camping lifestyle.
- Dependable, self-driven, and able to work independently with a strong work ethic.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to listen carefully and guide customers toward solutions that close the sale.
- Comfort using basic computer systems.
- Capability to lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs with assistive equipment.
Compensation
This role includes base pay plus variable compensation. The estimated annual variable pay range is $15,000 to $60,000. Pay decisions are based on factors such as skills, experience, training, licenses, certifications, and business needs. It is not typical to be hired at or near the top of the pay range.
