About Fine Tune Magazine

Fine Tune Magazine is an independent music publication built around spotting emerging artists early and sharing the stories behind their work. The magazine grew out of the UK, Australia and New Zealand, and focuses on the spaces where new music culture begins: small venues, group chats and artists working away before wider recognition arrives.

To mark the relaunch and the debut of its first print issue, Fine Tune is hosting a community event that brings readers, artists and music lovers together for an afternoon featuring music, conversation, natural wine and discovery. Role Overview

This is a flexible part-time internship lasting around 2.5 to 3 months. The role calls for a few hours each week in the run-up to the launch event, along with availability to support on the event day itself. You will work closely with the founder and gain practical exposure across communications, editorial production, marketing and live event delivery.

Key Duties

  • Help manage day-to-day communication and event administration tasks
  • Monitor shared inboxes and follow up with artists, freelancers, partners and other collaborators
  • Keep schedules organised and help maintain project timelines
  • Attend marketing, PR and production meetings and record clear notes and follow-up actions
  • Support press outreach and help maintain media lists
  • Assist with guest lists, RSVP tracking and event logistics
  • Contribute to social media planning and content coordination
  • Support editorial production as the first print issue is developed
  • Research venues, suppliers, talent and creative collaborators as needed
  • Help ensure the launch event runs smoothly on the day
