Club Technician

Role overview

The Club Technician role focuses on supporting fitters in building custom golf clubs to exact requirements so players receive equipment suited to their game. The position also includes daily workshop oversight, club repair work, support for store operations, and delivering a strong customer experience through hands-on expertise and product knowledge.

What you will do

• Carry out repairs and custom club builds with careful workmanship and attention to quality.
• Assemble golf clubs based on fitter instructions, with accuracy, durability, and customer satisfaction in mind.
• Improve build workflows, strengthen quality checks, and help the workshop run more efficiently.
• Use fitting tools, software, and machines only for authorised club fitting and testing activities.
• Keep the work area clean, safe, organised, and operating properly, while ensuring equipment stays in good condition.
• Monitor supplies, tools, and materials, and replenish them as needed to keep fitting and repair services running smoothly.
• Assist customers with advice on ready-to-buy clubs and custom options.
• Guide customers on adjustable club settings, product selection, and golf ball fitting.
• Support efforts to grow brand fittings by explaining the value of professional club fitting.
• Partner with pro shop teams, managers, and suppliers to improve operations and sales.
• Support club fitting events, demo days, corporate golf programmes, and tour activities when required.
• Provide after-fitting assistance and follow-up guidance to help maintain customer satisfaction.
• Work toward weekly sales goals and help improve the club fitting and building process to support revenue growth.
• Set up in-store marketing materials and promotional displays according to company guidelines, and assist with local golf sales events.
• Stay current on product knowledge, trends, and promotions to answer customer questions confidently.
• Track stock levels, keep shelves tidy and well stocked, and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Take part in stock checks, cycle counts, and annual stock takes to improve accuracy and reduce shrinkage.
• Coordinate with merchandisers and flag low-stock or excess-stock situations to the team.

Experience and skills

This role requires 1 to 2 years of experience in golf club technician and repair work, along with practical knowledge of golf club components and repair equipment. Strong customer focus, clear communication, presentation ability, and the drive to meet sales targets are important. The right candidate should be comfortable in a fast-moving environment, work well with others, and show punctuality, honesty, discipline, self-motivation, and a willingness to learn from feedback. Rotating opening and closing shifts are part of the schedule.

Additional information

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Singapore. The role supports both workshop and store functions and may involve nationwide fitting sessions, demo days, corporate golf programmes, and tour support as needed.
