Business Manager (Fixed Income Front Office)

Role overview

A global, multi-strategy hedge fund is looking to appoint its first London-based Business Manager to support its European fixed income platform. This is a high-visibility hire within a growing regional setup, offering the chance to shape how the function operates as the business expands across Europe.

What the role will involve

You will work in close partnership with Portfolio Managers and act as a strategic business partner across onboarding, business administration, performance and business analysis, and a range of commercial and operational projects. The position also includes coordinating with non-investment teams across the firm so that PM-led initiatives are delivered effectively and the fixed income platform runs smoothly.

As the main contact point for fixed income investment professionals, you will help solve day-to-day issues, improve operating efficiency, and strengthen the overall effectiveness of the business.

Experience and background

The client is seeking someone with 5 to 10 years of buy-side experience in a Business Management, Business Analyst, Strategy, or COO-style role, along with meaningful exposure to fixed income investment strategies.

Compensation

The expected initial total compensation for the role is £300,000 to £400,000.
