Role Overview
As a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst, you will turn business needs into reliable dashboards, reports, and analytical datasets that support decision-making across the business.
What You’ll Do
- Collect, interpret, and clarify reporting and analytics needs from business stakeholders.
- Work with teams to establish KPIs, metrics, and the rules used to calculate them.
- Create, improve, and support dashboards and reports in BI platforms.
- Build reusable analytical datasets and partner with Data Modelers to strengthen analytical data models.
- Review reporting needs and refine them into scalable analytics solutions.
- Analyze data to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable business insights.
- Support data governance work by documenting business metrics, dashboard logic, metadata, and glossary terms.
What You’ll Need
- At least 3 years of experience in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics.
- Advanced SQL knowledge.
- Practical experience with BI and data visualization tools, preferably QuickSight.
- Hands-on experience creating analytical datasets using dimensional modeling concepts.
- Proven ability to deliver dashboards and reports using BI best practices.
- Strong understanding of relational databases and data warehousing fundamentals.
- Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
