About the Role

Quantaco is seeking a Business Development Representative to help create new business opportunities across the Australian hospitality sector. This outbound role is centred on prospecting, pipeline creation and booking qualified meetings for the Business Development team.

You will connect with venue operators and hospitality groups through proactive outreach, uncover commercial and operational challenges, and present the value of Quantaco’s technology and accounting solutions. The role reports to the Head of Sales in Sydney and works closely with Sales and Marketing to support outbound activity, relationship-building and national growth plans.

Responsibilities

  • Reach out to hospitality operators across pubs, clubs and restaurants using calls, email, LinkedIn and other outbound channels.
  • Identify the right decision-makers and convert interest into a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Book qualified meetings and generate opportunities for the Business Development team.
  • Research target accounts and tailor outreach using sales tools and HubSpot CRM.
  • Run multi-step outreach campaigns and structured follow-up sequences.
  • Develop strong working relationships with venue owners, operators and other key stakeholders.
  • Keep HubSpot CRM records accurate and up to date with prospect activity, pipeline movement and customer interactions.
  • Work in partnership with Sales and Marketing on campaigns and growth initiatives.
  • Build a solid understanding of Quantaco’s technology, accounting and operational offerings.
  • Track pipeline activity, KPIs and outbound results against targets.

Requirements

  • Background in business development, lead generation or outbound B2B sales.
  • Previous experience in SaaS, technology, finance or service-led sales environments is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to build rapport and prospect effectively.
  • Comfortable with cold calling, email outreach and LinkedIn-based engagement.
  • Well organised, self-driven and motivated by targets.
  • Able to perform well in a fast-moving, KPI-led sales environment.
  • Experience using CRM systems such as HubSpot is preferred.
  • Exposure to the hospitality industry, or a genuine interest in hospitality technology, will be considered an advantage.
