About the Role
LHN Energy Resources Pte Ltd is expanding its clean energy business in Singapore and is seeking a commercially minded Business Development Manager to support growth in the solar sector. This position focuses on the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) solar market and involves close coordination with engineering and project teams to deliver practical renewable energy solutions.
Sales and Business Development
- Manage the end-to-end sales process, including lead sourcing, enquiry screening, proposal preparation, and contract finalisation.
- Develop new business opportunities within the C&I solar segment.
- Establish and nurture relationships with customers, consultants, landlords, and industry collaborators.
- Carry out site visits and meetings with clients to assess needs and recommend suitable solar offerings.
Proposal and Solution Development
- Work with engineering and technical colleagues to produce reliable costing, feasibility studies, and tailored proposals.
- Confidently present solutions and commercial proposals to clients and other stakeholders.
- Convert technical information into clear, business-focused presentations that are easy for clients to understand.
Market Intelligence and Strategy
- Track market movements, competitor activity, and regulatory updates in the renewable energy space.
- Assist leadership with sales planning and growth-focused business initiatives.
- Keep sales pipeline records accurate through regular tracking, reporting, and forecasting.
Requirements
- A diploma or degree in Business, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field is preferred.
- Between 2 and 7 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management.
- Strong skills in communication, negotiation, and presentations.
- A self-driven, goal-oriented approach and comfort working in a fast-moving environment.
- Capability to handle multiple projects and coordinate with several stakeholders at once.
- Experience in solar, renewable energy, construction, or related energy industries is an advantage.
- Exposure to C&I solar projects and energy solutions will be useful.
- A professional network in Singapore or regional energy markets is a plus.
