Role overview
We are looking for an energetic and self-motivated Business Development Executive to join a fast-growing social media marketing agency in the United Arab Emirates. The role centers on spotting, approaching, and winning new business, with the main focus on Abu Dhabi and Dubai, while remaining open to opportunities across the wider market. The ideal candidate will help secure brands that need social media management, content creation, and digital strategy support.
In this position, you will be the first contact for prospective clients and will play an important part in increasing the agency’s client base, strengthening market reach, and driving revenue growth.
Core responsibilities
You will be expected to research target accounts, initiate outreach, present tailored solutions, manage client conversations, and keep leadership updated on sales performance and pipeline movement.
Lead generation and outreach
- Identify potential B2B and B2C prospects in sectors such as real estate, hospitality, government, retail, weddings, and similar industries.
- Develop new leads through cold calls, LinkedIn outreach, networking events, and referral-based prospecting.
- Maintain an active and healthy prospect pipeline across Abu Dhabi and Dubai, as well as other relevant markets.
Sales pitching and proposal development
- Assess client needs and translate them into customized social media marketing and content solutions.
- Prepare and present persuasive proposals and presentations.
- Work closely with creative and strategy teams to make sure each pitch matches the agency’s service capabilities.
Client relationship management
- Meet clients in person or virtually as required.
- Collect feedback from clients and pass it to internal teams to support service enhancement.
- Record all meetings, outreach activities, and follow-ups in the provided CRM system.
Sales tracking and reporting
- Achieve monthly and quarterly KPIs.
- Share accurate forecasts, pipeline status updates, and activity reports with senior management.
Requirements
- At least 2 to 3 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in marketing, media, or advertising.
- Good working knowledge of social media marketing and digital trends in the UAE.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Arabic language fluency is required.
- Valid U.A.E. driving license.
Compensation and growth
The base salary is AED 4,000 per month. Commission is offered and depends on the value of the contract secured. Earnings can vary based on performance, with low performers expected around AED 6,000 to 8,000 per month, average performers around AED 15,000 to 18,000 per month, and top performers reaching AED 25,000 or more.
