Biology / Environmental Science Evaluator

Role overview

This remote contract role is for a Biology and Environmental Science evaluator who will review AI-generated work and judge it for scientific accuracy, depth, and overall presentation quality. The assignment is fully remote and structured as an independent contractor engagement with a flexible schedule that you manage yourself.

What you will do

• Assess Biology and Environmental Science outputs produced by advanced models for correctness, rigor, and overall quality.
• Review materials such as documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks using defined grading rubrics.
• Spot factual errors, weak analysis, presentation problems, and other quality issues across deliverables.
• Write clear, organized, and practical feedback that can be used to improve model performance and subject-matter outputs.
• Contribute to better model results through detailed evaluation and domain expertise.
• Support possible project extensions depending on business requirements and how well the work is performed.

Compensation and payment

The contract pays between $80 and $120 per hour. Payments are issued weekly through Stripe or Wise.

Requirements

• Solid professional knowledge in Biology and/or Environmental Science.
• Ability to judge work against subject-specific quality standards and scoring rubrics.
• Skill in identifying factual mistakes, analytical shortcomings, and presentation flaws.
• Strong written communication skills for producing concise, useful feedback.
• Native-level or professional-level English fluency.
• Comfort using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, especially PowerPoint and Google Slides.
• A Master’s degree or higher in a relevant discipline is preferred.

Additional information

This is a remote, self-managed contractor opportunity. The work is hourly and may be extended based on business needs and performance.
