About the Role
This position sits within Marriott International’s food and beverage team in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on creating a welcoming guest experience through attentive service, efficient beverage handling, and professional interaction. It is a full-time, non-management position based on-site.
What You’ll Do
You will help shape a memorable dining experience by supporting guests throughout service. That includes preparing the service area, coordinating with the kitchen, serving food and drinks, and keeping workstations clean and organized. The role is designed to make every guest interaction feel smooth and thoughtful.
You’ll also be expected to maintain a safe work environment, follow company procedures, and consistently meet quality and appearance standards. The job involves active, hands-on work and may include standing, walking, bending, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, and moving items weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
Role Expectations
Success in this position depends on professional communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage the menu accurately by reading and visually checking information. You may be asked to take on other reasonable duties as needed to support guests and the business.
Preferred Background
The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, less than one year of relevant work experience, and no prior supervisory experience. No license or certification is required.
