Role Overview

Gleneagle Group is hiring a full-time Bar Staff member to work from Muckross Road in Killarney, County Kerry. The role is based across the Gleneagle Hotel and Gleneagle Arena, serving guests in busy bar settings and at live events. Main Duties

• Provide drinks and food service to guests in different bar outlets.
• Follow procedures for cash handling and the protection of stock.
• Welcome guests in a courteous, professional manner.
• Learn the menu, including daily specials and local beverages, so you can guide guests confidently.
• Stay alert to guest needs and respond promptly.
• Accurately record food orders and work with kitchen colleagues to keep service moving.
• Keep the bar area tidy, stocked, and inviting.
• Share helpful local knowledge and enthusiasm with visitors.

Experience and Skills

Previous experience working behind a bar is required. Experience in food service is an added advantage. The ideal candidate will bring a warm, outgoing manner, strong communication skills, a service-first attitude, and a collaborative approach to team success.

Salary: Based on experience.
