Role overview

The team is hiring Backend Developers with Go expertise across several experience bands, from SDE 1 to SDE 4. In this role, you will contribute to backend systems that support mission-critical fintech and compliance products. The work involves distributed systems, APIs, cloud environments, and data-heavy applications used by enterprise customers around the world. It is a strong fit for engineers who enjoy tackling complex backend problems and building dependable, high-performance software.

Location and work setup

Bangalore, Karnataka, India. This is a work-from-office role.

Experience and compensation

Experience required: 1 to 7 years. Compensation range: ₹15–55 LPA, depending on experience and level.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and support scalable backend services in Go.
• Create fast and reliable REST APIs and microservices.
• Engineer distributed systems that can support large enterprise-scale traffic and workloads.
• Work closely with product, engineering, AI, and platform teams to ship customer-facing features.
• Plan and improve database design, caching strategies, and backend infrastructure.
• Integrate with external financial services and enterprise software platforms.
• Strengthen performance, monitoring, observability, and overall reliability of the application stack.
• Take part in architecture planning and help shape the platform for long-term scalability.
• Produce clean, maintainable, and thoroughly tested production-quality code.

Required skills and qualifications

• 1 to 7 years of experience in backend software engineering.
• Strong hands-on programming ability in Go (Golang).
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.
• Practical experience with REST APIs and microservice-based architecture.
• Working knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar.
• Exposure to Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or comparable messaging systems.
• Experience using Docker and cloud services like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Good debugging, analytical thinking, problem solving, and communication skills.

Preferred experience

• Background in fintech, payments, compliance, or risk-related products.
• Exposure to distributed architectures and event-driven systems.
• Experience with Kubernetes or other container orchestration tools.
• Understanding of CI/CD workflows and DevOps practices.
• Experience in product startups or fast-scaling engineering teams.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled applications or modern backend platforms is an added advantage.
