Role overview
We are hiring an experienced AWS Spark Scala Data Engineer in Bangalore for an in-person interview process. The role focuses on designing and delivering scalable data pipelines, processing large datasets, and developing cloud-native data solutions on AWS.
Key technical focus
The position requires solid hands-on capability in Scala and Apache Spark, along with practical experience across AWS data and compute services. You will be expected to build reliable data workflows and support end-to-end engineering of data platforms.
Mandatory skills and experience
- Strong working knowledge of Scala and Apache Spark.
- Practical experience using AWS services such as S3, EMR, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, Athena, and IAM.
- Background in data engineering, including ETL and ELT development.
- Ability to design and implement efficient and scalable data pipelines.
