Role Overview
This position supports an out-of-home (OOH) advertising platform that helps brands and agencies plan, purchase, and evaluate OOH campaigns across a wide network of vendors and formats. The environment is fast-moving, lean, and guided by a high standard of quality for every campaign.
The team is seeking a motivated OOH Media Planner who will contribute to the planning and execution of campaigns for different clients and industries. This is a practical, hands-on role for someone looking to strengthen planning capabilities, improve analytical thinking, and become highly proficient with the platform used for planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with OOH campaign planning from audience research and market identification through proposal creation and execution support.
- Create and update campaign plans, cost estimates, and performance reports using internal systems.
- Study target audiences and interpret their traits, behaviors, and media consumption patterns.
- Work closely with account managers, clients, and creative partners to ensure strategies and objectives stay aligned.
- Gain strong working knowledge of the planning platform and share useful product feedback with senior colleagues.
- Coordinate with OOH media vendors and support negotiation efforts under senior guidance.
- Handle several active campaigns at the same time while staying on top of internal and client deadlines.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of experience in OOH planning or a broader media planning function.
- Understanding of major OOH formats such as billboards, transit, experiential, and digital out-of-home, and how they fit into wider media strategies.
- Practical familiarity with audience and measurement tools such as GeoPath, Nielsen, Google Analytics, or similar platforms.
- Strong coordination skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation delivery and cross-functional collaboration.
- Comfort using spreadsheets and browser-based planning tools.
- Analytical mindset with interest in data, reporting, and campaign performance.
- Ability to work Eastern Time hours.
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting integrated media planning across digital and OOH channels.
- Exposure to campaign measurement, evaluation, and attribution approaches.
