Architectural Draftsman

Role Overview

CSCEC Middle East is looking for an Architectural Draftsman to join its Technical Department on a newly awarded large-scale high-rise tower project in Dubai, UAE.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare architectural detail drawings for project execution.
• Develop mobilization drawings and structural general arrangement drawings.
• Support the architect with material submittals.
• Produce shop drawings for blockwork, finishing schedules, tile layouts for floors and walls, reflected ceiling plans, site plans, external finishing details, termination details, sections, elevations, and related items.
• Create external landscape shop drawings, including hardscape layouts and detail sections, while coordinating with infrastructure drawings.
• Write detailed technical content that explains the design scope and requirements.
• Prepare construction drawings for execution.
• Review subcontractor shop drawings and coordinate them with the relevant drawing packages.
• Prepare survey coordination drawings based on the demarcation plan.
• Support the architect with material submittals and RFS documentation.
• Develop architectural and structural coordination drawings, identify clashes, and flag issues to the architect or technical engineer for RFI preparation.
• Prepare interior design drawings in line with IFC documents and coordinate with approved MEP shop drawings.
• Prepare precast panel finishing coordination drawings in alignment with MEP services.
• Review rebar drawings together with BBS and IFC drawings.
• Prepare as-built drawings to reflect site changes, alterations, and modifications observed during inspection.

Requirements

• A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture is required.
• At least 5 years of experience in building projects is required.
