Role overview

MASCA’s MONON initiative is hiring an Ambassador to act as a connector, representative, and relationship builder. This is not a marketing, sales, or recruiting role; it is for someone who can move comfortably across cultures, sectors, and personalities while protecting the clarity and integrity of the MONON message.

In this position, you will go beyond the organization’s immediate circle, open conversations, create links, identify possibilities, and bring back useful intelligence. You will engage with founders, artists, researchers, institutions, investors, creators, and other organizations across borders, focusing on connection rather than selling.

Responsibilities

• Represent MONON in engagements within Kosovo and abroad.
• Develop and sustain meaningful strategic relationships.
• Spot potential for partnerships, collaborations, exhibitions, projects, and expansion.
• Start conversations with people who bring fresh or unconventional perspectives.
• Serve as a link between MONON and external communities and stakeholders.
• Pay close attention, capture observations, and share insights clearly.
• Safeguard MONON’s values and reputation in every interaction.
• Travel whenever the role requires it.

What the role calls for

The ideal candidate brings excellent communication, strong emotional intelligence, genuine curiosity about people and ideas, and the confidence to work through uncertainty without constant direction. Fluency in English is required, and additional languages are beneficial. A polished presence, intellectual depth, the ability to build trust quickly, and an independent mindset are also important.

What we do not prioritize

Age, academic degree, job title, and social following are not the focus for this role. MONON is primarily interested in character, sound judgment, presence, integrity, and curiosity.

Ideal profile

You should be able to converse comfortably with a CEO, a monk, a scientist, an artist, or a stranger on a train. The role suits someone who knows when to speak and when to listen, and who understands that real influence is earned over time rather than claimed in advance.
