Role Overview
The Allocation Analyst supports in-store inventory planning and optimization so the business can improve sales, margins, and store results. This position focuses on building and carrying out allocation plans and works closely with multiple internal teams.
What You Will Do
- Create monthly floor set initial allocations using Store/Product Volume Ranking Indexes and analysis of allocation plans.
- Handle weekly fashion replenishment by reviewing store performance, product trends, and promotional, event, visual, and marketing requirements.
- Manage basic replenishment through models and stock balancing to keep stores properly in stock.
- Partner with Merchants and Planners to execute allocation strategies and align them with retail priorities across visual, product, marketing, and promotional functions.
- Review and refine size profiles by store and product category, then apply them to both initial and replenishment allocations.
- Prepare ad hoc analysis and recommendations that help guide buy plans and assortment decisions.
- Build a strong understanding of store, district, and regional performance, including variances, trends, and store/product attributes, through data analysis and field communication.
- Plan, allocate, and monitor opening assortment and unit plans for new stores and remodelled stores to support appropriate opening stock levels.
Education and Experience
A bachelor's degree is required. The role is intended for candidates with 0 to 2 years of experience.
