Role overview
This contract role is for an AI Evaluation Specialist working remotely from New Zealand. The position focuses on reviewing AI-produced content and experiences, judging their quality, clarity, usefulness, and overall end-user experience.
Compensation and commitment
Pay ranges from $22 to $70 per hour. The expected workload is 10 to 40 hours each week.
What you will do
- Examine AI-generated outputs and judge how well they perform in terms of quality, clarity, practical usefulness, and user experience.
- Spot gaps, inconsistencies, and areas where different content formats or visual outputs can be improved.
- Use defined evaluation rules to give detailed, thoughtful feedback that can help improve the model.
- Work with teams across functions to shape and improve quality benchmarks, scoring methods, and review procedures.
- Keep evaluations accurate and consistent so the findings can be trusted and acted on.
- Help improve evaluation processes and establish stronger working practices over time.
Required profile
- Native-level English ability at C1 or C2 standard.
- Strong reading comprehension and careful attention to detail.
- Good observational ability along with strong aesthetic or editorial judgment.
- Critical thinking skills and the ability to make consistent judgments in unclear situations.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
