Role overview
This permanent Administrative Assistant position is based onsite in Kansas City, Missouri, and supports the Vice President of Operations. The role calls for a polished, highly organized professional who can help keep daily business activities running without interruption.
What the role involves
- Provide direct administrative support to the VP of Operations.
- Manage calendars and help coordinate schedules across stakeholders.
- Arrange and facilitate meetings as needed.
- Communicate professionally with coworkers at various levels of the organization.
- Help maintain smooth day-to-day operations through strong follow-through and attention to detail.
- Handle multiple priorities in a busy, fast-moving environment.
- Serve as a trusted sounding board for the executive when needed.
Required background
- At least 3 years of experience in an administrative assistant role.
- Prior experience supporting vice presidents or other senior leaders.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional presence.
- Comfort working under pressure and in a high-paced setting.
- Advanced familiarity with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience supporting an executive in an operations-focused environment.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
Compensation
The position offers a pay rate of 70K per year.
Work setting
This is a full-time, permanent onsite role in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area, specifically Kansas City, MO.
