About the internship

This remote internship is for candidates who are meticulous with language and quality review. The role focuses on checking Hindi transcription and annotation work against the source audio, spotting mistakes, and making sure the final output follows client rules and quality expectations.

What you will do

Cross-check Hindi transcription files against the original audio to confirm accuracy.
Identify and flag issues in spelling, grammar, punctuation, formatting, timestamps, and speaker tags.
Catch omitted words, wrong transcriptions, segmentation problems, and any departures from the project instructions.
Fix transcription and QC errors to keep the output consistent and accurate.
Carry out audio checks and confirm that the transcription deliverables are complete and correct.
Review annotation work and point out labeling or guideline issues when needed.
Keep clear records of corrections, comments, and quality concerns.
Work with internal teams on revisions, client input, and quality enhancements.
Take part in review rounds and apply feedback to raise overall standards.
Handle project files and audio with strict confidentiality.
Finish assigned QC work on time while meeting productivity expectations.

Who can apply

Applicants must be available for a work-from-home internship, be able to begin between 1st Jul'26 and 5th Aug'26, commit for 2 months, and bring relevant skills and interest in the work. Candidates should also have strong Hindi listening, reading, writing, and comprehension ability, plus access to a laptop or desktop and a stable internet connection.

Requirements

Strong command of Hindi language use, including reading, writing, and comprehension.
Ability to review transcription quality and spot language, formatting, and content errors.
Good listening skills for audio comparison and validation.
Proofreading and editing ability.
Solid understanding of Hindi grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
Familiarity with annotation review and content checking.
High attention to detail and good time management.
Basic computer skills.
Access to a laptop/desktop and reliable internet connection.
Prior exposure to Hindi transcription, transcription QC, proofreading, annotation QC, or language review is preferred.
Native or fluent Hindi speakers will be preferred.
Immediate joiners will be preferred.
Must be responsible, quality-focused, and able to work independently.

Perks and compensation

The internship offers a monthly stipend in the range of ₹7,000 to ₹24,000, along with a certificate and a letter of recommendation. The stipend structure includes a fixed pay of ₹5,000 to ₹15,000 per month and an incentive pay of ₹2,000 to ₹9,000 per month.
