About the restaurant
This opportunity is with a 32-seat, well-established family dining restaurant in Kolkata.
Role overview
The restaurant is looking for courteous, lively waitstaff to support a fast-paced service environment. The role involves taking food and beverage orders with care, delivering items quickly, and contributing to a smooth and welcoming dining experience for guests.
Key responsibilities
You will be expected to handle customer orders accurately, serve meals and drinks in a timely manner, and maintain a high standard of guest service throughout the shift. The position also includes cash handling duties and working closely with the rest of the restaurant team.
Candidate profile
The employer prefers candidates with prior restaurant experience, especially those with a solid background in service roles. Applicants should have at least 3 years of restaurant experience, strong table service ability, and familiarity with POS systems. Immediate joining is preferred.
Additional requirements
Applicants from the Rajarhat or Newtown area are specifically preferred. The ideal candidate should be friendly, neatly presented, and comfortable working as part of a team.
