About the Role
This opportunity is with Mercor, a company that connects top creative and technical professionals with leading AI research labs. The organization is based in San Francisco and is backed by investors such as Benchmark, General Catalyst, Peter Thiel, Adam D’Angelo, Larry Summers, and Jack Dorsey.
Position Overview
The role is for a Design Expert working on a remote, contract basis. Compensation is set at $50 to $80 per hour.
What You’ll Do
- Provide thoughtful, well-supported design judgments on layout, typography, color use, and overall visual refinement.
- Maintain a polished professional portfolio that clearly reflects design capability and range.
- Partner with internal teams to keep visual output consistent and of a high standard.
- Operate independently to deliver work on time and help refine design workflows.
- Contribute through asynchronous collaboration to strengthen design results.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 4 years of practical, hands-on design experience.
- A strong professional portfolio is required.
- English fluency is essential.
