Role Summary
This is a remote, full-time executive position responsible for directing and safeguarding the organization’s technology operations. The role oversees IT infrastructure, core applications, and service delivery to ensure systems remain dependable, secure, and aligned with internal policies and regulatory expectations. It involves building and executing IT strategies, setting technology standards, improving service management practices, and continually enhancing system reliability and the end-user experience.
What the Role Involves
- Partner with senior leaders to shape technology direction and support business roadmaps.
- Lead IT infrastructure, systems, and application support activities.
- Supervise internal teams and external vendors to maintain high-quality service delivery.
- Own budgeting, governance, and operational risk controls for the IT function.
- Strengthen incident, change, problem, and service-level management processes.
- Drive improvements that increase stability, scalability, and user satisfaction.
- Support digital transformation efforts and ensure technology initiatives match business priorities.
- Help maintain secure, compliant, and resilient IT environments with appropriate continuity planning.
Qualifications and Experience
- Strong background in IT operations and information technology, including infrastructure and systems support.
- Solid leadership experience in IT management, vendor oversight, budgeting, and governance.
- Practical knowledge of IT service management frameworks for incident, problem, change, and service-level control.
- Ability to align technology investments and operating plans with business goals and long-term growth.
- Senior-level IT leadership experience in financial services or leasing is a strong advantage.
- Good understanding of cybersecurity, compliance, risk management, and business continuity planning.
- Strong analytical thinking, communication, and stakeholder influence skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline; an advanced degree or certifications such as ITIL, COBIT, or PMP are beneficial.
