Role Overview

This position is for an experienced US IT Recruiter based in Bengaluru. The role requires strong hands-on experience in US IT hiring, corporate recruitment environments, and coordination with US-based reporting managers. The role follows North America working hours and is an in-office position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source, screen, and evaluate resumes to match IT hiring needs with the right profiles.
  • Handle recruiting for a wide range of US visa and work-authorized candidates, including H1B, US citizens, Green Card holders, permanent residents, OPT/CPT EAD, and TN visa consultants.
  • Work comfortably with different tax arrangements such as W2 and 1099.
  • Recruit through social platforms, job portals, and internal candidate databases.
  • Use applicant tracking systems such as Oracle, Workday, or similar tools as part of the hiring process.
  • Negotiate salary and hourly rates for both contract and full-time openings.
  • Coordinate with clients and manage stakeholder communication effectively.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally in both verbal and written formats.

Requirements

  • At least 4 to 8 years of experience in US IT recruitment.
  • Prior experience working in a corporate team environment is required.
  • Exposure to reporting to US Citizen managers is needed.
  • Strong familiarity with MSP and VMS hiring models.
  • Practical experience using an ATS platform is mandatory.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and coordination skills are essential.
