Role Summary

This position is focused on delivering precise translation and interpretation support for official communications, records, and stakeholder interactions. The work must be clear, consistent, and aligned with organizational quality requirements as well as UAE government communication protocols.

Core Responsibilities

• Convert a broad mix of materials such as official letters, reports, policy documents, and presentations between Arabic and English without losing meaning or accuracy.
• Check and refine translated content to maintain linguistic quality, uniform terminology, and compliance with approved standards.
• Handle simultaneous and/or consecutive interpretation for meetings, workshops, and formal events whenever needed.
• Adapt language, tone, and context to meet cultural expectations and government communication standards.
• Build and regularly maintain a shared glossary and terminology repository to keep translations consistent across the organization.
• Work with internal teams to resolve ambiguities and confirm specialized or technical terminology.
• Assist in preparing bilingual documents and communication materials for both internal and external audiences.
• Protect sensitive information and maintain strict confidentiality throughout all translation-related work.
• Follow internal policies, document control requirements, and established quality procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• A bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Arabic, English, or a closely related discipline.
• At least 5 years of translation experience in a government setting or a professional environment.
• Excellent written and verbal proficiency in both Arabic and English is required.

Additional Information

The role is based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates. It is a full-time, on-site position.
