Role overview

Super Micro Computer is hiring a technically strong Technology and Business Enablement Engineer for Qatar. This position focuses on solution architecture, pre-sales support, and technical enablement in a market that is changing quickly. The right candidate will understand Qatar’s enterprise, government, and service-provider environment and be able to turn local business needs into strong solutions based on Supermicro technology.

Key responsibilities

• Drive technology and business enablement efforts with Qatar as the main focus.
• Serve as a dependable technical partner for end customers and system integrators, supporting solution evaluation, architecture, and adoption of Supermicro offerings.
• Use existing industry relationships and ecosystem knowledge to help move opportunities forward with priority accounts.
• Work with regional sales, product, and global engineering teams to create customer-aligned architectures.
• Translate commercial and operational needs into practical Supermicro-based solution designs.
• Create and present technical proposals, proofs of concept, workshops, and solution briefings suited to the Qatar market.
• Support partner onboarding and technical training for local system integrators, distributors, and strategic customers.
• Keep track of market changes in Qatar and the wider META region, including digital transformation, data center expansion, regulatory factors, and evolving customer needs.
• Help shape localized go-to-market plans that reflect Qatar’s technology priorities and buying patterns.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in technical, pre-sales, or business enablement roles in IT, data center, or infrastructure sectors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Strong understanding of server platforms, HPC, AI, storage solutions, and data center technologies.
• Hands-on experience working with enterprises, government organizations, telecom operators, and system integrators in Qatar.
• Proven success in client-facing roles, especially in pre-sales or solution architecture.
• Good awareness of Qatar’s market trends, procurement practices, and partner network.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Solid analytical thinking and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
