Role overview
The Nelson Transport team is looking for a Transport Technician to join its four-person group in a new office. The role supports the delivery of engineering consulting services across Transport, Civil, 3-Waters, and Geotechnical projects. You will work within a well-established multidisciplinary environment, assisting key transport clients with network and asset management tasks while meeting required timeframes and quality expectations.
The wider Nelson office includes 65 professionals who are active in the local community and enjoy the Nelson/Tasman region.
What you will do
- Support the delivery of engineering consultancy work across transport, civil, 3-waters, and geotechnical projects.
- Assist with network and asset management activities for transport clients.
- Contribute to work that is completed within agreed deadlines and to the expected quality standard.
- Work collaboratively in a close-knit, multidisciplinary team.
Candidate profile
We are seeking someone with a civil engineering background or a closely related qualification, along with at least two years of experience in a relevant field. A current, clean driver’s licence is also required.
