Technical Growth Product Manager

Role summary

BlueOcean Tech Services is looking for a Technical Growth Product Manager to drive product delivery, growth-focused experimentation, client coordination, and execution oversight for embedded teams supporting AI and technology startups based in the United States. The position blends product thinking, technical fluency, growth orientation, and disciplined execution, with close collaboration across founders, engineering, design, QA, DevOps, and marketing.

The person in this role will help convert business goals into clear priorities, rapid delivery, measurable results, and dependable product quality.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of product planning, sprint priorities, backlog grooming, and coordination of delivery work.
• Convert client objectives into actionable requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and execution roadmaps.
• Partner daily with engineers, designers, QA, DevOps, and client stakeholders to keep work moving.
• Facilitate sprint planning, standups, reviews, demos, retrospectives, and regular progress reporting.
• Spot opportunities to improve activation, conversion, and overall growth through experimentation.
• Set KPIs, monitor progress, and present results in a clear and structured way.
• Handle ambiguity, remove blockers, and keep teams moving in deadline-driven environments.
• Make sure outputs align with agreed scope, quality expectations, and business goals.
• Surface risks, blockers, schedule shifts, and trade-offs early and transparently.
• Contribute to discovery work, competitive research, roadmap shaping, and launch coordination.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in product management, technical project management, growth product work, or startup operations.
• Solid understanding of how software products are built and shipped.
• Proven ability to collaborate with engineering, design, QA, DevOps, and business teams.
• Experience preparing user stories, acceptance criteria, product documentation, release notes, and status updates.
• Strong analytical mindset with a clear focus on metrics and KPIs.
• Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfort handling several priorities at once in a fast-moving startup setting.
• Strong English communication and a professional manner when dealing with US-based clients.
• Hands-on familiarity with Jira, Linear, Trello, Asana, Notion, Slack, Figma, analytics platforms, and product documentation tools.
• Background in AI products, SaaS, marketplaces, B2B software, automation, or growth experimentation is a plus.
• Ability to work with American clients and international teams.
• Strong ownership, urgency, and professionalism.
• Comfort delivering under tight deadlines while maintaining quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Availability to overlap with US working hours when needed.
• Strong documentation habits and effective asynchronous communication.
• High attention to detail.
• Reliable internet, power backup, and an appropriate work setup.

• Availability for weekend work during crunch periods.
