Position Overview

CORE Consulting is looking for a Supply Chain Manager to support its procurement operations on a full-time basis. The role centers on commodity sourcing and managing long-lead equipment so project needs are met on time.

This is a remote opportunity with real impact, suited to someone in the early to mid stages of their career who brings strong analysis skills, initiative, and a practical, solutions-first approach. The right person should be comfortable in fast-moving settings and be someone who pushes work forward rather than simply observing it.

Key Responsibilities

Handle procurement work from start to finish, especially commodity sourcing and purchasing.
Coordinate ordering of long-lead equipment and help ensure deliveries match project schedules.
Review supply market conditions, price movements, and supplier performance to shape sourcing decisions.
Work with internal teams to forecast demand and reduce supply-related risks.
Look for ways to lower costs and improve day-to-day operational efficiency.
Take an active role in meetings by bringing ideas, observations, and thoughtful questions.
Serve as a strategic partner to procurement leadership.
Support vendor management and contract-related activities.

Required Qualifications

3 to 5 years of hands-on supply chain experience.
Background in commodity procurement.
Experience in purchasing, sourcing, or supply planning.
Strong analytical thinking and organizational ability.
Capability to juggle several priorities at once.
Experience working in cross-functional teams or client-facing roles.

Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to the energy sector or similar industries.
Experience with global sourcing or dispersed supplier networks.
Comfort using procurement software or ERP tools.

Work Environment

The position is fully remote and requires working in alignment with US business hours.
