STEM Data Annotator

Role overview

This is an hourly contract assignment for a STEM expert who can work remotely from Canada. The position pays between $30 and $40 per hour and is suited to someone comfortable contributing 10 to 40 hours per week.

What you will do

• Review images and videos to extract important STEM ideas and detailed subject-level observations.
• Create advanced, high-quality questions that require deep expertise in the subject matter.
• Sort and label content accurately so it can be routed efficiently to the right experts and workflows.
• Work with teams across functions to keep content accurate, consistent, and high quality.
• Use data analysis and literature review to guide content creation and improvement.
• Apply modern teaching approaches and educational technology tools in the work.
• Support teammates, share expertise, and contribute to ongoing improvement efforts.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge in at least one STEM field.
• Background in curriculum design and instructional development.
• Strong analytical ability and sound critical thinking.
• Clear written and spoken communication skills.
• Ability to handle work independently in a remote setup.
• Familiarity with educational technology or digital tools.
• Strong teamwork, coordination, and project leadership skills.

Additional information
