Role overview
As the Spa Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for the spa and play a key part in shaping each member’s experience. The position blends front-desk service, sales support, and day-to-day operational assistance in a fast-moving premium environment.
This role is practical and varied, requiring someone who can stay organised, communicate clearly, and help keep the spa running smoothly while maintaining high service standards.

Key responsibilities
- Provide a polished reception experience, including handling bookings, giving spa tours, and welcoming members
- Answer phone calls, respond to enquiries, and manage feedback in a professional, solution-oriented manner
- Support membership growth and service sales through confident and natural conversations
- Work with internal systems to process reservations, purchases, and member records
- Keep the spa looking presentable and ready by managing linen, stock levels, and general facility preparation
- Help ensure all areas comply with health, safety, and service expectations
- Assist the Spa Manager and wider team with opening, closing, and daily operational tasks
- Contribute to a positive, energetic workplace culture
What you’ll need
- Previous experience in customer service, spa, wellness, or hospitality is preferred
- A polished, professional appearance and confident communication style
- Strong customer orientation and the ability to build rapport quickly
- Comfort working in a sales-focused environment with targets to meet
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- A dependable, proactive attitude and strong commitment to quality work
- Comfort using technology and learning new systems
- Current First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain it, plus Australian working rights
Working hours
The spa operates from 6:00am to 9:00pm on weekdays and from 6:00am to 6:00pm on weekends. Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster is required.
