Role overview
Gopuff is looking for an energetic, hands-on Site Manager to support the Field Operations team in Hollywood, Florida. This position suits someone who takes initiative, leads with ownership, and thrives in a high-tempo environment. You will oversee a local group of Shift Leaders and Field Operations Associates, along with independent Driver Partners, to keep facility operations running smoothly.
The role centers on building a strong on-site operation and making sure customers receive a reliable, high-quality experience. Success in this position depends on your ability to lead effectively, adapt quickly, and keep the team focused on service and execution.
What you'll do
- Oversee day-to-day facility operations, including deliveries, inventory, equipment, and systems.
- Guide the team toward better performance on key metrics such as order picking time, order dwell time, drive time, order defect rate, and cost per order.
- Train and coach associates to work safely and consistently follow standard procedures.
- Manage site performance by helping ensure productivity, labor, and expense targets are met.
- Monitor warehouse compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and internal procedures by reviewing and interpreting reports.
- Support safety, human resources compliance, and asset protection while maintaining controls that protect employees and products.
- Review operations and quality standards, then build action plans that raise performance.
- Help execute company programs and guide the management team in maintaining confidentiality for information, documents, and records.
- Develop practical plans that strengthen safety, workplace culture, and financial results at the facility.
What we're looking for
- At least 3 years of experience in a fast-moving environment with responsibility for leading a mixed workforce of W2 and 1099 workers.
- Background in retail, grocery, military, restaurant, or a similar setting is preferred.
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proven conflict-resolution capability.
- Experience developing and engaging teams.
- Comfort using computers, email, and Google Suite.
- Ability to lead through change and shifting priorities.
- History of improving processes and finding efficiency gains.
- Availability for flexible schedules, including peak hours from 5pm to 3am, plus weekends and holidays as required.
- Physical capability to stand, bend, reach, and walk during shifts.
- Ability to lift up to 49 pounds.
