Role Summary

This is a full-time, on-site Site Engineer position in Abu Dhabi. The selected professional will manage day-to-day construction operations, making sure the work follows approved drawings, technical specifications, and safety standards. The role requires close coordination with civil and structural engineers, supervision of site personnel and subcontractors, oversight of quality control, and prompt resolution of technical issues during execution. The engineer will also prepare site documentation and reports, support inspections, and maintain effective communication with project managers, consultants, and clients to ensure project progress stays aligned with targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and monitor daily site activities to ensure smooth execution of construction work.
• Confirm that all work is carried out in line with approved drawings, specifications, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with civil and structural engineering teams to support site execution.
• Supervise site workers and subcontractors and track their progress on assigned tasks.
• Oversee quality checks, including work inspections and verification of materials.
• Identify and resolve technical issues that arise during construction.
• Prepare site reports and maintain accurate project records and documentation.
• Support inspections and ensure compliance with project and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate regularly with project managers, consultants, and clients on project status and issues.
• Use strong planning and coordination skills to keep work aligned with project objectives.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have solid on-site supervision capability, strong communication skills, and practical experience in quality control and construction compliance. A civil engineering or related background is required, along with the ability to read technical drawings, apply structural engineering principles, and work effectively with project reporting tools. Familiarity with local codes and regulations is important, and prior site engineering experience in the UAE or GCC is considered an advantage.

• Experience in the UAE or GCC site engineering environment is preferred.
