Role overview

Haven is looking for a Security Team Member to help keep guests, owners, and team members safe within a lively holiday park setting in Pwllheli, Wales. This position sits within a 24-hour security operation and is suited to someone who enjoys staying active, working with people, and handling a varied day-to-day routine.

The role requires an energetic and welcoming SIA Door Supervisor-licensed professional who can contribute to a safe, relaxed, and enjoyable environment for everyone on site.

Working pattern

This opportunity is available on a full-time, part-time, or seasonal basis. The role is onsite and may involve shifts across nights, weekends, and bank holidays.

Pay

The hourly rate for this position is £13.32.

Responsibilities

• Walk and monitor the holiday park regularly to help maintain safety and security for guests, owners, and team members.
• Manage site entry and check that only approved guests, owners, and authorised individuals are allowed access.
• Handle security incidents quickly and professionally, including medical situations, alarm activations, and guest concerns.
• Keep clear, accurate records of incidents and share reports with management when needed.
• Offer a friendly and helpful approach to guests, including support with queries and information.
• Work closely with colleagues and other park teams to support a safe and enjoyable atmosphere.

Requirements

• A valid SIA Door Supervisor licence is essential.
• Prior security experience is beneficial, especially in hospitality or leisure environments.
• Good communication skills and the ability to stay composed and professional in difficult situations.
• Strong attention to detail and solid observation skills.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
