Service Specialist

About the Role

The Service Specialist plays a key part in a client support team handling a range of administrative and workplace services, including copy, print, mail, hospitality, facilities, and receptionist duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle mail processing tasks such as metering, sorting, and distributing mail and accountable parcels according to the set schedule.
• Complete copy, print, and scanning assignments accurately by following written directions.
• Answer phone calls, route them to the right contact, and welcome visitors in a courteous and professional way.
• Support hospitality operations by coordinating and maintaining conference rooms, shared spaces, and kitchens; ensure areas are clean, supplied, and ready for use; manage kitchen supplies and restock inventory when needed.
• Maintain copy rooms and general supply areas, distribute paper, and carry out routine daily upkeep on floors.
• Assist with basic facilities tasks such as hanging pictures, helping with small office relocations, cleaning support, and relaying building or equipment concerns to client contacts.
• Provide courier support using a personal vehicle, with mileage reimbursement available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a customer service-related role is required.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks while maintaining strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable handling issues with tact and professionalism.
• Must be able to lift or move items weighing 40 lbs or more.
• Should be able to lift, carry, or move packages on a standard wheeled cart with a 75 lbs load capacity.
• Must be able to walk, bend, kneel, stand, or sit for long periods.
• A valid driver’s license and dependable transportation are required for courier delivery of legal documents throughout and around the Lexington, Kentucky area.

Compensation

The pay for this position can go up to 17.00 USD per hour. Final compensation depends on the candidate’s location, experience, skills, and qualifications.
