Service Advisor

Role overview

North Western Toyota in Palmerston North is seeking an additional upbeat, people-oriented team member to join its service department. This position is suited to someone who wants to begin a career in the automotive industry or build on existing experience.

What the role involves

You will work closely with the workshop to help make sure customer vehicles are serviced on schedule, keep work moving smoothly, understand what each vehicle needs, and speak with customers about their vehicles. A major part of the job is delivering a warm, professional service and making sure every customer leaves with a strong experience.

You will also be accountable for keeping job invoicing organised and correct.

Work environment

This can be a busy, fast-moving setting, so the role calls for the ability to stay composed under pressure, juggle multiple tasks, and bring resilience to the workday. Ongoing induction and training will be provided.

Who the company is looking for

The ideal person will fit well into a close-knit team, follow established processes, and have a sense of humour. A clean full driver’s licence is required, along with the ability to confidently drive both manual and automatic vehicles.
