Role Overview
The Service Advisor will be the main point of contact for vehicle owners visiting the service center in Riyadh. This role focuses on understanding customer concerns, explaining maintenance needs, coordinating repair work, and ensuring a smooth service experience from check-in to handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide customers on the routine maintenance their vehicles require.
- Diagnose likely issues by asking the right questions, carrying out a visual check, or performing a road test when necessary.
- Discuss inspection findings with customers, suggest the appropriate corrective actions, and create work orders for repairs.
- Draft repair orders with estimated time, labor, and cost for the service required.
- Record the customer’s concern clearly on the repair order so the technician can quickly identify the issue.
- Update customers on the work completed and explain the charges listed on the repair order.
- Address and resolve customer complaints professionally.
- Arrange and manage service appointments.
- Collect customer and vehicle details in advance whenever possible.
- Welcome customers promptly and courteously while capturing the vehicle information needed for service.
- Test-drive vehicles with customers when required to verify the complaint or route the case to a test technician.
- Review service records, inspect the vehicle, and advise on any extra maintenance or repairs that may be needed.
- Educate customers on proper vehicle care and on following the manufacturer’s recommended maintenance schedule.
