Role Overview
Avelios is hiring a (Senior) Frontend Engineer (all genders) to help build modern digital experiences for hospitals. You will partner closely with designers, engineers, and medical specialists to translate complex clinical processes into clear, intuitive interfaces. The position gives you ownership of the frontend stack and the opportunity to shape software that is both refined and meaningful.
Responsibilities
- Work with the core engineering team to create fast, easy-to-use user interfaces.
- Build, test, launch, and support scalable frontend components within the product landscape.
- Develop software used at scale in demanding clinical settings.
- Use modern technologies to strengthen the user experience in healthcare products.
- Write secure, efficient code that meets strong technical expectations.
- Improve performance and ease of use continuously using user input and feedback.
- Partner with medical professionals to ensure the product remains clinically relevant and usable.
Requirements
- A degree in Informatics, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or comparable hands-on experience.
- Strong practical experience with React, TypeScript, or Swift.
- Proven programming experience; contributions on GitHub are considered an advantage.
- Interest in learning new tools and adjusting quickly to new challenges.
- A proactive, solution-focused mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
- Fluent English communication skills.
