Scrum Master - Airline Domain

Role overview

HTC Global Services is seeking a Scrum Master with deep airline-industry experience to support digital and technology delivery on a one-year contract that can be extended, based onsite in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

This role is suited to a delivery-focused Agile professional who can lead cross-functional teams, keep execution on track, and work effectively with business, technology, QA, and vendor stakeholders in a fast-moving airline environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead core Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Assist Product Owners with backlog grooming, prioritization, and sprint preparation.
• Identify and clear obstacles that could affect delivery, while actively monitoring risks and interdependencies.
• Work closely with business, technology, QA, and external vendor teams to support on-time delivery.
• Monitor sprint health, delivery KPIs, and progress updates, and prepare concise status reports for senior leadership.
• Encourage strong collaboration across teams without losing sight of delivery goals.
• Push teams and vendors constructively to strengthen execution and improve delivery results.
• Promote ongoing improvement and adoption of Agile practices across the team.
• Support delivery of airline digital products and services such as booking, reservations, customer support, loyalty, airport operations, or similar platforms.

Experience and skill requirements

Applicants should bring substantial IT delivery experience, including a strong background as a Scrum Master and proven exposure to the airline domain.

Success in this role requires solid command of Agile and Scrum methods, backlog management, stakeholder coordination, and delivery governance, along with the ability to stay organized under pressure and handle several priorities at once.

Strong communication, presentation, ownership, problem-solving, and executive reporting skills are important, as is experience partnering with Product Managers, engineers, QA teams, and business stakeholders.

Hands-on use of Agile collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence is expected. Scrum Master certification such as CSM, PSM, or an equivalent credential is preferred.

Preferred domain exposure

Experience in airline functions such as reservations, passenger services, loyalty, revenue management, airport operations, or customer experience will be an advantage.

This is a contract opportunity for one year with the possibility of extension. The work location is onsite in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
